The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has closed Jarir Bookstore in Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street for a period of 15 days, which can be renewed due to the violation of store schedules announced by the Ministry as part of the precautionary measures to confront Coronavirus to maintain public health, as announced on its official Twitter account.

It was announced that starting April 9, commercial activities in stores and shops will be stopped during weekends with exemptions. This is in addition to previous circulars regarding temporary closure of shops and bank branches along with other businesses.
