Within the framework of the inspection campaigns carried out by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) at the Industrial Area in cooperation with the competent authorities, the Ministry recorded violations for five companies for not adhering to the precautionary measures that were announced during the opening of the Industrial Area. The companies, which operate in the activity of workshops, garages, and carpentry, violated health and safety requirements in the workplace and housing and did not adhere to wearing masks.

The Ministry issued records of a violation in this regard.

The Ministry stressed that all companies must adhere to the Labor Law and the ministerial decisions implementing it, and the Ministry's policy of measures that companies must take to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), to avoid legal procedures in this regard.

The Ministry has designated the hotline: 40280660, to report violations related to the safety of workers in housing and workplaces.
