In cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Transport and Communications has supplied the labor city of Mukaynis with 1136 computers, through the Better Communication initiative, and based on the ministry's continuous keenness to provide comprehensive care for workers.
The computers provided in two batches will allow the workers who are subject to isolation to communicate with their relatives in their countries through the program, in addition to providing educational brochures available in several languages, and guiding them to take all precautionary measures to prevent infection with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is worth noting that the Better Communication program is supported by many partners, including Vodafone and Microsoft, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), and the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute.
