According to the QNA, the weekly cabinet Meeting has decided to make wearing masks compulsory in all closed and open public places, excluding persons who exercise in open spaces, effective from Friday 31 December 2021, until further notice.

This takes into account the obligation of health requirements, procedures, precautionary measures and controls set by the ministry of public health.

The Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Public Health and other government agencies - each with regard to it - take the necessary measures in this regard, to ensure compliance with the health requirements, procedures and precautionary measures established.

In addition, the following update has also been made in the Cabinet Meeting with regards to conferences, exhibitions and events:

The organization of conferences, exhibitions and events will be according to the following:

A - capacity not exceeding 75% in open spaces.

B - A capacity of no more than 50%, indoor, including 90% of participants who completed doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, requiring those who have not completed or have not received doses of the vaccine (COVID-19) to conduct a rapid antigen test approved by the Ministry of Public Health, or PCR.

In any event, prior approval from the Ministry of Public Health is required before any conference, exhibition or event is held.
