MADSLA concludes campaign educating workers about COVID 19

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor, and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has concluded the "Conscious" campaign that lasted from April 5 to 22, with the aim of educating workers, and employers, on the precautionary measures for coronavirus (Covid-19).

The "conscious" campaign targeted workplaces and workers accommodation, where 271,174 workers benefited from them, as the campaign team made 4,151 field visits, during which 88,000 educational outlets in 6 different languages were distributed to workers. 572,754 educational messages were sent to employers via SMS.

The "conscious" campaign covered the various areas of the country and all municipalities. The number of field visits took place in the northern areas, which include the municipalities of "Al-Daayen, Al-Khor, Al-Thakhira, Umm Salal, and Al Shamal", reached 608 visits, benefiting 44,809 workers, while 114,107 workers in Doha Municipality were educated through 1912 visits by the "Conscious" campaign team.

The number of field visits in Al-Wakra Municipality reached 301, benefiting 23,478 workers. As for field visits in Al-Shahaniya municipality, 201 visits reached 9, 592 workers, and the "conscious" campaign in Al Rayyan Municipality benefited 79,188 workers through 1129 field visits.
