In a post in its Twitter account, Hamad Medical Corporation has announced new changes in visitor policy. "In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, new restrictions are in place for visitors to HMC hospitals and facilities."

It stated that NO VISITORS AT ANY TIME are allowed to the following facilities:

• Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital
• Mesaieed Hospital
• The Cuban Hospital
• All Enaya facilities
• All areas classified as COVID-19 facilities

The following restrictions apply to other hospital facilities:

• Visiting hours are restricted to 12 midday to 8 pm only
• Only one visitor at a time for a maximum of 15 minutes
• Visitors must comply with hospital guidelines for personal protective equipment and hand hygiene

These changes have been made in order to protect patients receiving care from the spread of COVID-19.

It was announced previously that the following will be COVID-19 facilities: Rawdat Al Khail health center, Muaither Health Center, and Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital.
