Gaming centres, trampoline parks reopen today with 50% capacity

The second stage of resumption of entertainment activities in Qatar has started today with electronic gaming centres and trampoline parks opening up to the public with 50% capacity, according to the Peninsula Qatar.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has earlier announced the gradual lifting of restrictions on recreational activities in amusement centers and parks on December 31, 2020. The resumption of entertainment activities is taking place in three stages, with the first stage commencing on 3 January 2021 with the reopening of outdoor playgrounds, kid's outdoor games, billiards and bowling.

The third stage will include the reopening of entertainment activities like bouncers, inflatable games. and ball pits and will commence on 24 January 2021.

The Pearl-Qatar's Megapolis and Villaggo Mall's Gondolania Them Park are also ready to welcome visitors, as well as Funville which has reopened in Ezdan Mall, Al Khor Mall and other malls around Qatar.

Doha Festival city has opened up its theme parks today with 50% capacity. These include Virtuocity, Sand Dunes and the Angry Birds World.
