Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani tweeted that the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in Qatar the day after tomorrow, 21 December 2020.

On 6 October 2020, Dr. Abdullatif Al Khal, Head of the National Strategic Group on COVID-19 and Head of The Infectious Diseases Department at Hamad Medical Corporation told Qatar Television that everyone residing in Qatar who requires it will be able to get the vaccines free of charge when it is available.
