In a special interview with Qatar TV Wednesday night, Moza Al-Madhahka, Director of the Educational Guidance Department at the Ministry of Education, mentioned that rotational education is the alternate attendance of a group of students one week and another group of students in the next week and distance learning will continue as well.
The interview comes after the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's decision to implement the mandatory rotational attendance system for students in the school building.
She added that attempting to reduce educational loss as much as possible is one of the reasons that prompted the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to decide on rotating education, in addition to the desire of parents after discovering the negative aspects of student absence from school.
"The time limit for implementing the rotational education system is related to the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health. We hope that students will return to their schools naturally as soon as possible. We affirm that student safety is the priority of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education," Moza Al-Madhahka said.
"The student’s attendance at school is extremely important as it connects him psychologically, healthily, and socially and reduces the harms of his stay at home."
