The Doha Metro is getting ready to get back on the rails for Phase 4 of the gradual lifting of restrictions in Qatar which is expected to start in September 2020, and its staff is receiving extra training to ensure all coronavirus (COVD-19) precautionary measures are taken, not only by them, but also the passengers who will use the Doha Metro, according to the Twitter page of the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram.
Doha Metro has also installed hand sanitisers across all of its stations to help prevent the spread of the virus to ensure a safe journey to all its customers, and constantly sanitises all surfaces at the stations.
Since high body temperature is one indicator of the coronavirus (COVID-19), thermal scanners have been installed to monitor the temperature of customers entering the stations, and 18,000 social distancing messages have been installed across the network to continuously remind people the importance of maintaining social distance from others.
