The designated authorities referred 418 people to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory. In addition, 159 people for not abiding by the decision to ban gatherings in the parks and Corniche, 5 for not installing the Ehteraz app, 66 people for not maintaining safe physical distance in public places, 2 people for violating the number of passengers permitted in a vehicle, and 6 people for violating home quarantine requirements.

The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree-Law No. 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The designated authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary measures in place to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
