A new functionality has been introduced in the Ehteraz Portal to enable citizens and residents who have received COVID-19 vaccination from outside Qatar to apply to have their vaccination approved and reflected on Ehteraz as a golden frame.

COVID-19 vaccination certificates uploaded in the Portal will be validated and verified, and only those which are valid will be accepted and reflected in Ehteraz. Vaccinations from abroad will have the same validity criteria applied to them as those from within Qatar, as well as follow the same rules related to fully approved and conditionally approved vaccines.

Processes for visitors to Qatar have not been changed, and they must follow the same protocol for entry into Qatar as previously through the Ehteraz Portal.
