The Ministry of Public Health has announced that thermal screening for COVID-19 is no longer required in public places except at metro stations, airports, seaports and the border.

This decision comes as part of phase 4 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions with the number of new daily COVID-19 cases remaining low in recent weeks. The Ministry has also emphasised that the green Ehteraz status is still required to enter public places.
