From 18-25 February 2021, 952 people were referred to thePublic Prosecution for not wearing masks and 112 for violating the maximum people allowed in a vehicle in Qatar, 9 for not adhering to physical distancing, 7 for violating home quarantine rules and 6 for not downloading EHTERAZ on their phones.

From 462 new confirmed cases reported on 18 February, the numbers slightly increased to 465 the next day, after which it decreased to 449 on 20 February, and then increased to 459 on 21 February. The next day, 22 February, saw 463 new infections, followed by 455 and 459 on the next two consecutive days, before increasing to 465 on 25 February, towards the end of the week.

From 265 recoveries from the coronavirus (COVID-19) on 18 February, the numbers increased to 289 on 19 February, following which it rose to 420 and then to 480 recoveries for the next two days. The numbers then increased to 495 and then to 510 the following two days. The number of recoveries saw a sharp increase to 562 on 24 February and then decreased to 540 on the last day of the week on 25 February.

Qatar started the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 on December 23, the second doses of the vaccine have also started. Here are some of the updates in Qatar:
The Ministry of Public Health has announced that the COVID-19 vaccination certificate now available on MyHealth Patient Portal. All individuals who have received 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will automatically have a vaccination certificate available for them in the MyHealth Patient Portal 7 days after their second dose. Registration and activation will take approximately 24 hours.
Starting Sunday, January 17, 2021, the Ministry of Public Health's new online registration form for the COVID-19 vaccine is open to citizens and residents who want to register their desire to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a Tweet, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), updated the list of health facilities that have been approved to conduct COVID-19 PCR test. There are now a total of 40 health centres that have been approved.
Here are some important tips for people taking the COVID-19 vaccine, as said by MoPH official: - If a person had come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, the date for taking the second dose should be delayed for 14 days from the date of contact. - The person will be fully protected from COVID-19 infection after a week or two from taking the second dose of the vaccine.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced the launch of a weblink on its website where certificates of completing the 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine can be downloaded or printed. It also added that certificates can also be obtained via the MyHealth App.

Avoid social visits to reduce their risk of contracting the virus.
Wear a face mask as recommended when out of the house.
Wash hands with soap and water regularly; if not available use a sanitiser.
It is important that we continue to protect the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases and remind their family members to follow strict measures to reduce the chances of infection, including refraining from social visits.
Call the toll free 24/7 coronavirus hotline at 16000 for information or if you have COVID-19-like or flu-like symptoms. This is important as the earlier the disease is detected the easier it will be to receive the right treatment and recover from it. The four main testing centres are:
