Here are the latest updated weekly trends in terms of recoveries, new cases and deaths related to the current COVID-19 situation.
From 21 January - 28 January 2021, 869 people were referred to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks in Qatar. The total figures of people not wearing masks in Qatar as of 28 January 2021, has reached a figure of 7,551 persons.
From 258 new confirmed cases reported on 21 January, the numbers increased to 263 the next day, after which it decreased to 251 on 23 January, and then decreased to 247 on 24 January. The next day, 25 January, saw 277 new infections, followed by 299 and 338 on the next two consecutive days, before increasing to 347 on 28 January, towards the end of the week.
From 128 recoveries from the coronavirus (COVID-19) on 21 January, the numbers increased to 141 on 22 January, following which it decreased to 121 and then decreased further to 118 recoveries for the next two days. The numbers decreased to 123 and then increased to 143 the following two days. The number of recoveries saw a sharp decrease to 127 on 27 January and stood at 163 on the last day of the week on 28 January.
