The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that the ease of regulations in mosques will be starting from Saturday 9/8/1443 AH corresponding to 12/3/2022 AD.

The precautionary measures eased are the following:

  • Canceling of social distance for obligatory and Friday prayers
  • Opening toilets and ablutions in specified mosques
  • Allowing children to enter
  • Opening of women's mosques
  • Not requiring the presentation of EHTERAZ application in the obligatory prayers
  • It is not required to bring a rug

The Ministry calls upon mosque-goers to adhere to and abide by the regulations.

The precautionary measures that remain to ensure the safety of worshippers and community members, are the following:

  • Continue to wear a mask
  • Show EHTERAZ application (green) before entering the mosque for Friday prayer

All people who suffer from colds (cough, high temperature) are kindly requested not to attend the mosque. We ask God Almighty to protect our dear homeland from all evil and evil, and to lift this epidemic, and remove this grief from it and all humanity.
