Authorities act against more people for not wearing masks

The Ministry of Interior has announced on Tuesday, November 24, that 93 people were referred to the Public Prosecution for non-compliance with wearing masks in places where they are mandatory. This is in line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases.

This brings the total of people referred to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks to 1,612. No violation of the limit on car occupancy was reported on November 24.

The designated authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary measures in place, to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
