In a Facebook post, Al Zubarah Archaeological Site mentioned that all heritage sites in Qatar closed until further notice.
Al Zubarah Archaeological Site said, "currently we are receiving many requests about our opening times. Please be informed that in line with measures announced by the Qatari Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as of 9 April 2021 all heritage sites are closed to visitors until further notice. This includes Al Zubarah Archaeological Site, Al Zubarah Fort and site museum as well as Al Jassasiya Rock Art Site."
The closures also include Al Zubarah Archaeological Site, Al Zubarah Fort; the site museum and Al Jassasiya Rock Art Site.
