In an Instagram live Q&A session today, Dr. Soha Al Bayat, Head of Vaccination of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), mentioned that the age criteria for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine have been lowered to 50 years old and above and those with complicated chronic illnesses for non-Qataris. All Qataris are eligible for vaccination irrespective of age group.
She also encouraged everyone to register online so that they can be contacted to receive the vaccine. The online registration allows eligible people to request an appointment to receive the vaccine.
