The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (ADLSA), on 14 March 2021, sent an SMS to all employers in the State of Qatar that it has noticed a lack of commitment from the companies that the employees who are currently not in the priority groups have been referred to the vaccination centres.

The Ministry clarified on the groups that are currently being allowed for vaccination.

Groups that are currently being invited to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are:

• Individuals who are 50 years and above, regardless of their health condition.
• Healthcare professionals and other key workers in different ministries and government institutions.
• Teachers and administration staff in education.

The Ministry urged companies to adhere to the message sent to them.
