The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that student attendance in all schools will be reduced to 30% starting Sunday, 21 March 2021.

The ministry said in its official Twitter account:

"Upon close coordination with the MoPH and for the public interest, it has been decided to reduce the attendance rate in all stages of public and private schools to 30% as of 21 March to ensure a #Safe_healthy_school_environment, with blended education being in force."
