Ministry of Public Health today announces the registration of 126 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the recovery of 21 patients in the State of Qatar.
Some of the new cases of infection are related to travellers who returned to the State of Qatar from abroad and were subjected to quarantine upon arrival. Other new cases were in contact with positive cases in Qatar. All newly infected cases were put into quarantine and are receiving all necessary medical care.
The Ministry announced the recovery of 21 more patients, making the total number of recovered cases in Qatar now at 93.
Ministry of Public Health requests all members of society to cooperate fully and adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
