The Government Communications Office has released a video showing the "precautionary measures and hygiene best practices when using online home delivery services to protect both yourself and Qatar's wider community from Coronavirus (COVID-19)", in its official Twitter account.
Make sure to follow every precautionary measure when ordering home delivery services:
1. Pay for your order online. If you need to use cash, provide the exact amount to limit your contact with change.
2. Ask for the delivery to be left in front of your door.
3. Maintain a safe distance of at least 2 meters between you and the delivery person, should you need to interact.
4. When picking up the order to bring it into your home, use single-use gloves and dispose of them immediately after use.
5. Disinfect the packages before handling them.
6. After disposing of the packaging in a safe manner, wash your hands for 20 - 40 seconds using soap and water.
7. Wipe down the surfaces that have been touched by the packaging.
8. If you had ordered food, empty the meals onto clean dishes assigned to each family member.
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, please follow the advised health and safety guidelines when sending and receiving food and gifts to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Be sure to follow every precautionary measure and hygiene best practice when using online home delivery services to protect both yourself and #Qatar's wider community from Coronavirus (COVID-19). #YourSafetyIsMySafetyhttps://t.co/TVIujCqkNy pic.twitter.com/Pj3tH5tVsU
