In a post in its official Twitter account, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that:
"Following the directives of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the decisions made during presiding over the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management to combat the new coronavirus disease (COVID-10), a set of new measures related to the economic and financial sectors have been issued, from which the Small and Medium industrial area and Mesaieed Industrial Zone are all exempted from the rent value for a period of six months, effective from Sunday March 15, 2020.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is urging consumers to report any violations of its decisions by calling 16001 or emailing [email protected] or through its accounts on social media sites.
