Many shopping complexes in Qatar have announced today that kids below 12 years are allowed to enter malls. However, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued a circular recently regarding this.
The circular says that further to the control the second phase of the gradual lifting of restrictions, children below the age of 12 won’t be permitted to enter commercial centers, shopping centers and popular markets.

The statement further mentions that most commercial activities will remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays, except for those offering vital services such as pharmacies, restaurants and food outlets.
Ministry has also withdrawn its previous decision setting time limits on commercial and service activities, therefore, management now can decide the work hours according to their requirements.
