There are new precautionary measures issued after the Cabinet meeting, many shops and businesses will be stopping all commercial activities from May 19 - 30, 2020.

There are exceptions and below businesses can still operate during this period.

1. Food Outlets

• Groceries, Supermarkets, Convenient store
• Fruit/Vegetable stores
• Restaurants for delivery only
• Bakery
• Confectionary Store (Chocolate/Sweet)

2. Health

• Pharmacies
• Medical Clinics

3. Automotive

• Petrol Stations
• Car Service Center that belong to dealership

4. Others

• Factories in industrial areas
• Construction & Contracting (allowed to work in work sites and offices)
• Plumbing & Electrical Servicing
• Financial Institution (As per Central Bank's Decision)
• Telecommunication Companies
• Delivery Companies through Apps (MOCI have confirmed this includes E-commerce)
• Hotel Industry
• Logistics Companies and companies operating in airports and ports

Other than what has been mentioned above, remaining commercial businesses must be closed as of today until May 30th. Businesses that are still allowed to open must follow the precautionary measures.
