It is mandatory for individuals to present the health status of the Ehteraz app when entering public and private healthcare facilities in Qatar.

Citizens and residents are also no longer required to take a PCR test or RAT within 24 hours following arrival in Qatar.

Masks are not required in public transportation. It will only be mandatory in health facilities and for customer-facing work roles.

These changes will take effect from Sunday, 4 September 2022 starting at 6 pm at the time of arrival in the State of Qatar.
