[UPDATE] From the press conference of the Supreme Committee of Crisis Management Affairs

According to the press conference held on the night of March 17, H.E. Lolwah Al Khater mentioned that the closing of the parts of Industrial Zone was done after discovering a number of cases there, which are subject to quarantine, and this decision came to the safety of the residents of the region by continuous medical examination procedures, and to prevent other areas from further spread of the virus. Ministry of Interior (MOI) sent an SMS early this morning "As a part of medical precautionary measures applied in the country for ensuring everyone's safety, the road starting from the north side of street No. (1) to the south side of the street No. (32) in the old industrial area main road to the west side of the water tank road will be closed starting from Tuesday (March 17, 2020) for two weeks. We urge everybody to cooperate with the competent authorities.''

Based on the testimonials from the community members, the area inside the red highlight in the picture seems to be under a lockdown. However, we do not have an official statement from the authorities.
