Al Sailiya Central Market closed temporarily due to coronavirus outbreak!

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported three new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the State of Qatar. Among them, two cases were discovered in the Al Sailiya Central Market.

It was released in a press conference today held by the Ministry of Public Health, where Ministry talked about the latest updates regarding coronavirus. Due to this circumstance, Al Sailiya Central Market had closed its doors to the public until further notice.

The patients were admitted to the Communicable Diseases Center under complete quarantine, in addition to that all the people who came in contact with them have been checked to make sure they are not infected, MOPH said during the press conference.

A shop owner at Al Sailiya Central Market told ILoveQatar.Net: "The market is closed since yesterday due to coronavirus fears until further notice. There are around 200 shops in this market and we had to throw all the products to prevent the spread of the coronavirus."
