The Social Development Centre "Nama", one of the centres under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work has announced that it will continue to provide advisory services, in line with its goals to support entrepreneurs from small and micro enterprises, through the "Business and Coffee" activity, as one of the projects supporting this category.

The center seeks, through "Business and Coffee", to reach entrepreneurs within an interactive environment that helps them direct their desires and ideas in the field of entrepreneurship, and turn them into something tangible on the ground through open or individual consulting sessions by qualified and accredited specialists in various sectors.

In each meeting, an open session is provided using the global Canvas model followed by a question and answer time. Individual consulting sessions are also provided to a select group of business leaders in each meeting. The Nama Centre held the first "business and coffee" sessions for this year last April.

In implementation of the States instructions to take all precautionary measures to curb the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and to preserve the safety of the Centre's beneficiaries, the consultative sessions on the project that were previously held in various cafes in the country have been converted to the remotely-held session via Zoom application.

After the first session of the "Business and Coffee" project received a large turnout from the entrepreneurs, as the number of registered in the first session reached nearly 65 participants, the Centre decided to increase the number of sessions to become 6 sessions during the year out of two sessions annually, and the next session is scheduled to be held on May 19, where registration requests will be received for participation in the session through the electronic development application.

The Centre invites business leaders to register for training courses through the electronic development application or visit the official website of the Centre to learn about the services provided and follow up the Centre's accounts on social networking websites to see everything new provided by the Centre.
