Four new companies have announced rental exemptions for commercial tenants in light of the coronavirus outbreak in Qatar.
Hassad Food Company announced an exemption from rent for tenants in Al Sailiya Central Market and Al Wakra Central Market for a period of six months.
In a press release on Tuesday, Hassad said the exemption starts from April until September 2020.
As announced on their social media: In view of the current circumstances, Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) announces a rent exemption for the months of April, May, and June for all WOQOD's tenants.
According to its Twitter account: Ezdan Mall announces exempting all retailers at Ezdan Mall Gharaffa, Ezdan Mall Al Wakra and Ezdan Mall Al Wukair from rental obligations of (March, April, and May), as a committed supportive initiative in facing the current challenges. We seek the opportunity to invite all members and authorities of our community to consolidate to overcome the current situation.
In a post on its Twitter account, Ezdan Hotels company announces exempting all Restaurants and Coffee Shops at Ezdan Hotel West Bay Towers and Ezdan Palace Hotel from rental obligations of (April, May، and June), as a supportive initiative in facing the current challenges as part of our national commitments. We seek the opportunity to invite all people to consolidate to overcome the current situation. May Allah protect us all.
