The HEAD of EARLY YEARS Department will work with the Head of School to maintain the highest standards for the day-to-day running of their school.

Responsible for liaising and leading teachers in the EARLY YEARS Department and Curriculum Development for the program. Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives. Ability to teach Early Years grades.Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.

Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problem. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects, distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor of Education for Early Years Level
  • Relevant teaching qualification/license from the following countries only: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA (Preferably UK as it is a British curriculum. Due to visa restrictions in the country)
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience at EARLY YEARS level
  • Master Degree in Leadership an asset
  • Proven leadership/supervisory experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Head position

Contract Details

Start Date: September 2019

Contract Duration:
2 years (Renewable)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Work Week: Sunday to Thursday

Visa: Sponsorship and fees covered by employer

Housing: Furnished Housing or equivalent Cash allowances for housing, furniture and utilities as per family size (between QAR 5,500 - 8,500) Utilities paid, up to $82 for Single and $135 for married approximately

Tuition Fees: Free Tuition for one dependent attending same school as employee

Vacation: Approximately 2 months summer holidays, plus national holidays

Medical Insurance: Health Coverage for Employee

TAX FREE SALARY: TAX FREE Monthly QAR 13K to 16K depending on qualifications and experience

Benefits: Annual return airfare to home country for Employee and one dependent (Spouse or child)

End of Service: One month salary as a bonus, for each year completed, paid at the end of service, according to country labour law
