Department

OPERATIONS - OFFSHORE FLDS

Primary purpose of job

1) Ensure the most efficient and economical use of helicopters contracted by QP for the transport of personnel, materials and equipment between Doha and offshore Locations in preparing daily schedules of helicopter flights and responding to unplanned daily flying requirements.2) Supervises subordinates and heliport operations, which include passenger check-in, flight takeoffs and landings, monitoring of helicopter operations performance, monitoring medevac helicopters,day-to-day coordination with client departments, and the helicopter contractor.

Experience & Skills

1) A minimum of 10 years experience in aviation (Air Transport Operations), Three years of which are in a senior post in an offshore oil and gas setting.

Education

1) Degree in Business administration or equivalent.
