The answer my dear friends is.... it depends. What type of an invitation is it? If it's just a casual invitation, expect to see people in their sweatpants, watching football or being consumed by their mobile phone. It's just a bunch of people hanging out socially. If it's a formal event, then dress up nice, expect to go through traditional cultural protocol but still socialize. Either way, just get comfortable.
