This month is turning out to be the coldest February on record in Qatar since 1962

Doha to sizzle on Wednesday, with 41 degrees forecast

The maximum temperature will be 41C in Doha, 39C in Al Khor and 38C in Wakrah and Mesaieed. On Tuesday, the maximum was 41C in Turayna and 40C in Doha, Al Rayyan, Sheehaniya, Batna and Karana.

Temperatures expected to rise

The temperature may see a “noticeable rise” on Sunday and Monday, reaching the mid-30C levels in some parts of the country

Strong northwesterly winds are expected to start affecting Qatar by the middle of next week causing high waves and a drop in temperatures. However, the temperature is not expected to fall below 12 degree Celsius, according to an expert.
