Qatar Museums to hold lecture by Silvia Naef

Members of the Doha community gathered on 15th April at the Fire Station Artist in Residency to attend a lecture by Silvia Naef, Professor at the Arabic Studies Section of the University of Geneva. In the lecture, Naef explored modern art’s appearance in the Arab world in the 20th century and how the local art scene and markets in the Middle East have gained worldwide influence.
