NIGHT

So it's night time, you're all dressed up but you didn't think about where you want to go. Yes yes, it happens to everyone! Don't fret! Here's a list of places to go and things to do when it's time to hit the town. You'll find Night Clubs, Bars, and some great Sheesha spots. Don't be afraid to be adventurous!

Qatar's nightlife has been growing for at a steady pace. Some of the most hippest clubs from around the world are due to be opening exclusive branches in Doha in due time. At least there'll be somewhere to suit all tastes.

BARS - SHEESHAS - NIGHT CLUBS

  Garvey's

Bar

Need some British pub action? Garvey's is the place you want to go to. It's quite old but it has the whole British feel to it. Fish and Chips, Guinness on tap, a bit of football or rugby on tv and perhaps a darkish atmosphere. People say you'll feel 50/50; you'll either like it or you'll hate it. There have been rumours that this place is 'selective' of who they let in.

Directions: Go straight through the roundabout with a truck dealership "TATA". Approx 500m after TATA, turn right. There is "Johnson Window Film" there. Take first left (immediately after Patisserie Swisse)

  Aussie Legends

Bar

A bar on the rooftop of Rydges hotel; it's a great spot and pretty popular with western expats. Bar food, variety of drinks, music, and some telly on game days. Definitely a place to unwind and visit if you need to relax. There is no specific dress code however smart casual is recommended.

  Irish Harp

Bar

The Irish harp both has the look and feel of an Irish Tavern. Usually very full of expats from all over the world. It can get pretty full, so be ready to stand for long periods of time. Then again, that's the Irish way! In comparison to other places prices are a bit more expensive than on average. Get ready for some good times.

  Orion

Bar

This place has a laid back lounge atmosphere. Cocktails are their thing, so go ahead and give them a challenge. There's usually a band there to play some music and get you in a pleasant mood.

  Bubbles C&C Bar

Bar

Need to get rid of that bulge in your pocket? No... don't let your mind wander. We're talking about the notes in your wallet. If so, this upper class bar is the place for you. Enjoy the caviar and sip on martinis because you'll feel like Mr. Bond. Oh the C&C stands for Champagne & Caviar.

  Cigar Lounge

Bar

This place can be found in the fabulous Sharq Village. A miniature village designed to look like the souq. You won't find bargains here because this is one of the most exclusive bars to hang out at. You'll find amazing service and feel true luxury in this place.

  The Old  Manor

Bar

Not many have experienced this bar, however if it's anything like the hotel its in, I can without a doubt say that you'll have rubbish service. I used that hotel once and will never again.

Sheesha

 "Traditional Arabian Beauty"
A very nice place which has pretty nice lighting. A great place to sit back and relax with friends. Best of all, you can try their great sheesha. Make sure to arrive early because it can get packed.
You can get sheesha in a variety of fruit flavours. Actually, I don't smoke, but the smell was soo good, that I had to give it a try. My best recommendation for a drink in this setting is Tea with mint.

Recommended by iyigun from Turkey.

  Al Bandar

Sheesha

Not just a sheesha, but also a restaurant. Enjoy eating some traditional Arabic food or simple smoking a sheesha and sipping a cold juice on the cushions and watching people pass by. It's truly a unique experience and you'll feel like you're teleported back in time.

  Qube

Night Club

Probably one of the most well known of the clubs in Doha. Great lighting, cool atmosphere and a generally hip spot. Are you a group of women or want a friendly couples night out? Relax in the dedicated areas.

  Cloud Nyn

Night Club

A small club with a modern twist in the Merweb Hotel. It really is a small place and is more of a bar but they do list it as a club so here it is. Perhaps somewhere that could be considered more a chill spot. It's great how the waiters trays light up when it's time to take your order.
