Windy, dusty weather forecast for Monday

Strong wind and dusty conditions have been forecast at places inshore in Qatar on Monday.

Chance of scattered rain

Poor visibility due to fog in the morning and a chance of scattered rain by evening are forecast for today in Qatar. The maximum and minimum temperatures are 27C and 13C, respectively,  according to the  Met Office.

A windy day

It was windy yesterday and today also will be the same. The weather bureau has forecast high northwesterly winds as well as slight fall in day and night temperatures — it could be a bit chilly today. Northwesterly winds may move at speeds of 12 to 22 to 25 knots at places inland.

Strong winds, lower temperatures in the offing

The country will continue experiencing strong winds on Monday along with dusty and cold conditions, the Qatar Met department has said.
The weather report has also warned of high seas, accompanied by strong winds, in offshore areas.

Poor visibility is expected in most areas of Qatar in the early hours of Friday due to fog, the Qatar Met department has said.

The visibility may drop to 1km or less in these places, according to the weather report.
