As its official dealer in Qatar, Alfardan Sports Motors turned this passion for motor racing into a thrilling awareness drive held in recognition of November, Men's Cancer Awareness Month.
In partnership with Qatar Cancer Society, the dealership hosted an exclusive track day for Ferrari owners in Qatar while drawing focus on the various types of cancer affecting both men and women in November. The event kicked off at the showroom in The Pearl-Qatar, from where a stunning motorcade made its way to the Losail International Circuit in true Ferrari style. Shortly after arriving to the circuit, a representative from QCS conducted an awareness lecture about cancer in general and men’s cancers in particular, before launching the track day with a safety brief.
As part of the event, attendees scorched the 5.3 km racetrack in some of the top-performing, luxury models, under the supervision of trained Corso Pilota drivers – the world famous Ferrari team of Italian driving instructors from Maranello. With each lap, the models demonstrated unparalleled efficiency and speed of the Prancing Horse. Furthermore, the winner of the fastest lap time was rewarded with the prestigious Corso Pilota driving course in Italy.
