Everything is in place at the Museum of Islamic Art Park (MIA Park) to host the 1st Red Bull Flugtag in Qatar, an event that is inspired by the first ever flying trial by Arab inventor Abbas Bin Firnas, in a style never seen before in Doha. Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority, spectators at MIA Park, will have the chance to see specimens of wild or tropical birds, wild animals or fish, old cars or planes, and even agile insects or aerodynamic forms. Each of these aircrafts will be introduced with an entertaining show performed by its crew before the main attraction of the Red Bull Flugtag: launching these flying machines from a purpose-built platform before landing in the water. - ILQ News -
