Two meteor showers to be seen on Qatar sky this month

During November every year there are two meteor showers illuminate Qatar sky and all Hemisphere skies. Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced. The first meteor shower will be seen over Qatar sky is Taurid meteor shower, where its peak will be from evening of November 11 until dawn of November 12. Astronomer expert at (QCH) Dr Beshir Marzouk said.

Qatar residents and Arabic area countries residents not need to astronomical telescopes to see Taurid meteor shower; because they can see it over Northwest Horizon by naked eye from places without light and environment pollutions (pure sky).

Moreover, residents can take a nice photo for Taurid meteor by using recent digital cameras, but they must increase exposure time of camera while taking photo to get a best picture for Orionid meteor, Dr Beshir Marzouk added.

Taurid meteor is created by debris from Encke Comet; where Earth passes through the dust and debris it leaves behind every year. Moreover, the average shower can see at its peak will be about 12 Taurid meteors per hour. According to Astronomer Experts in observe meteor. Second meteor shower will be seen over Qatar sky is Leonid meteor shower, where its peak will be from evening of November 17 until dawn of November 18.
