Two Indians who stole bank cards of four people living in the same company accommodation and used them to withdraw QR 6,700 have been jailed by the Criminal Court, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported on Sunday.

The victims, who filed a case with Ras Laffan police station, said the cards were stolen from their safes.

The convicts were captured in an ATM camera withdrawing money using the stolen cards. They transferred QR5,000 to their country.

The duo will be deported after serving the jail term, the daily added.
