Sheraton Grand Doha Invites Foodies for an Unforgettable Experience at QIFF 2017

Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel is pleased to announce its participation at the highly anticipated annual event, Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) from March 29 - April 8 in Hotel Park, on the doorstep of Qatar’s iconic social landmark.

QIFF is now an established and sought-after multicultural festival celebrating Qatar’s plethora of food, beverage and hospitality offerings from all around the world that brings together the local community and food enthusiasts to experience new and exciting cultures and food.

At this year’s event, Sheraton Grand Doha invites foodies to enjoy the tastes of a wide-range of delicious dishes, all freshly prepared by the hotel’s talented international chefs.

There will be six-live cooking theaters lasting 30 minutes for festival-goers, as part of a series of ‘Chef’s Table’ events. This includes: Chef Indika kicking it off with a healthy salad (March 29th, 5pm), Chef Mauro Bellodi presenting Italian cuisine (March 30th, 9pm), Chef Vincent Lee Asian Cuisine (March 31th, 9pm), Arabic Cuisine will be shown by Chef Issam Sedoq (April 2, 8pm), and the succulent tastes of South America by Chef Luciano Carobini (April 3, 7pm). Chef Stephenson Simson will also take crowds on a tour to discover delicious sweets (April 8, 6pm).

In addition, Sheraton Grand Doha will host the famous Arab Chef Manal Al Alem at Al Hubara Restaurant (April 4, 7pm) to dazzle an intimate group of 20, early booking are recommended to avoid disappointment.

The 8th annual Qatar International Food Festival provides visitors with a unique opportunity to taste from cultures and flavors around the world while also enjoying entertainment such as appearances from celebrity chefs, competitions, food trucks and family-friendly activities.
