Children feel respected and heard – they don’t need handling.

Sharq Village & Spa,a Ritzcarlton hotel manifested the importance of our future builders

and students from Step by Step Centre for special Needs by giving a 3 hours cooking class

for the kids to discover their inner chef that was lively conducted by Chef Evangelos

inside the kitchen of the Al Dana Restaurant.

This is the 2nd time for the kids to

experience this Junior Chef program and they had given the opportunity to learn cooking

techniques, kitchen safety and how to produce healthy, tasty pasta. It is a completely

hands on kids cooking class for children needs to be fun and informative learning to

share, cooperating with their peers, measuring, following instructions and waiting for the

end product.

After less than 2 hours , Chef Evangelos and the active students tastedtheir

cooked pasta and left the hotel carrying another lasting memories and big glow and smile

in their faces. Junior Chef is a program under the Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints Year
