This January, the Losail International Circuit will hold the Qatar SuperStock 600 (QSTK600), which is a new road racing championship.

Losail has hosted a number of different international car and bike races over the past few years. The QSTK600 will be organized by the Qatar Motor Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and the Losail Circuit Sports Club (LCSC).

The QSTK600 championship will consist of 12 races, which will be held over the course of six rounds. There are two races per round and up to ten classified riders in each race will receive prize money.

The bike riders will compete using a stocked 600cc bike that they will ride for the whole season. Using this particular bike will act as a regulator for competitors to test themselves and fight for the title under fair racing conditions and in a professional environment.

The QSTK600 aims to organize a championship that gives all riders in the region the opportunity to enjoy the race without having the worry or hassle of bringing in their own bikes to Qatar.

The riders will have their first contact with the new bike before the opening round. This will be the official test segment of the championship, which will take place on December 13 to December 14. The opening round will take place from January 20 to 21.

The other rounds will take place on February 3 to 4, March 23 to 24, April 7 to 8, and the closing on May 5 to 6, 2017. These rounds will all be held in the day time except the closing round, which will be held in the evening as it will be the supporting race for the Moto Grand Prix of Qatar (MotoGP).

Here’s the calendar for all the events that will take place:

Round 1 — January 20 and 21, 2017
Round 2 — February 3 and 4, 2017
Round 3 — March 23 and 24, 2017
