In breaking news, Qatar Post unveiled its new brand, characterized by its unique visual identity at a press conference at the Sheraton Hotel today. Present at the press conference were His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency the Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications, Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti and Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, Faleh Al Naemi. Key members of the media were also in attendance.

The new identity revealed for Qatar Post will complement the ways in which it is revolutionizing the postal industry by its operations, expanding into new areas of growth and delivering a unique customer experience. The modernization of the postal industry will also be in line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, leading the country towards a knowledge-based society. In this video release by Qatar Post, it promises to grow and advance along with Qatar.

The three main aims of the modernization of Qatar Post are:

1.To enhance service portfolio and customer experience

2.To build the best in-class postal operations with automated postal equipment and modern IT systems.

3.To nurture organizational capabilities for employees by building an effective work environment.

In this age of the digitalization of the world as we see it, Qatar Post is keeping up by diversifying its products and services, while also collaborating locally and globally to help create a better and more efficient experience for customers. Qatar Post’s e-commerce service, CONNECTED, was recently streamlined to reduce cost of shipping. A home delivery option was also introduced by the organization, now available to all customers registered with a P.O. Box — a first for postal services in Qatar. Customers will also be able to access more streamlined e-government services through Qatar Post and its kiosks, including Metrash services.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, Faleh Al Naemi, addressed these iconic developments for postal services in Qatar, saying, “It is both a privilege and a responsibility for Qatar Post to build a connected society in Qatar and to connect our nation to the world. Today marks a new beginning for the postal services of Qatar.”

In the near future, the organization plans to further expand its reach in Qatar, launching new branches, services and offers for customers.

With a constant and increasingly rapid growth in customer demand for more digital, efficient and convenient postal services, Qatar Post has stepped up its game and is ready to deliver and take its place as a leader in the country.
