Grand Hypermarket opens new outlet in Doha to meet rapid demand

Doha, Qatar- Owned by Regency Group, Grand Hypermarket announced the opening of their 41st hypermarket and the third in Qatar. This is yet another milestone for Grand Hypermarket who has an illustrious track record to their credit. The outlet will be opened to the public at 5:00 PM on 31st August 2016.

One of the major anchor stores in Ezdan Mall, Wukair, the Grand Hypermarket includes a full-fledged supermarket and a department store, providing an excellent multi-ethnic shopping experience.

The GDP growth of Qatar is forecast to average 3.6% over 2016-18, on the back of continued expansion in the non-hydrocarbon economy, making it one of the most attractive Middle Eastern investment destinations. The group’s decision to establish a wider presence in the Qatari market in 2016 is testimony to Regency’s vision and commitment to expand their arena while being closer to their customers.

Grand Hypermarket has established its proud partnership with Ezdan Mall to further expand its offerings across the Qatari market, whilst building on the established customer base of the Mall. Ezdan Mall Al Wukair located in an up-market residential area with a huge captive customer-base. The department store houses all major brands of electronics, household, clothes, watches, accessories, etc. Moreover, the in-house bakery ensures a regular supply of freshly baked Arab and French breads and patisserie. The hypermarket has two floors with an ambiance space to enjoy the shopping. Ground floor has a spacious supermarket for food, fresh food and other grocery items.
