Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has partnered with a record 77 hotels and hotel apartments to provide enticing accommodation and food and beverage (F&B) packages throughout July and August as part of the annual Qatar Summer Festival. All throughout the festival, Qatar’s hotel establishments will be offering packages made up of a mix-and-match of 11 different offers to their guests, whether they are visitors or residents in Qatar.

Guests can benefit from a free night’s stay when two nights (at hotels) or five nights (at hotel apartments) are booked. Some hotel establishments are also providing a range of food and beverage offers including free daily breakfasts, free meals for children under five and meals at half-price for children between 5 and 12 years of age when accompanied by adults. Others will be providing a 10% discount on all F&B, while some hotels will be offering a 10% discount on F&B at all hotel outlets for guests who book early.

Hotel guests can enjoy QSF’s shopping promotions by availing of a free transfer to and from Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City or any of the major retail centers participating in the Qatar Summer Festival. Various hotels will also be providing free transfers to Souq Waqif.

To ease their arrival and journey back home, select hotels will also offer guests late check-outs, and free transfers to and from Hamad International Airport.

To find out which hotel is offering what, guests can visit the Qatar Summer Festival pages on Qatar Calendar.

The same website lists the 21 hotels and luxury Sealine camp which are providing special packages to visitors and residents who use their spas. The spa offers include 50% discount on all spa treatments, 50% discounts on gym memberships during July and August, and a 50% discount on beach and/or pool access. The packages also include F&B offers with a 50% discount on brunch menus on Fridays and Saturdays, or a 50% discount on breakfast buffets. Visitors and residents can also choose to benefit from a full “Chill-Out Package” which includes use of gym, pool, full body massage and brunch.

“The number of hotels participating has increased by 35% since last year’s Festival, as the hospitality sector works even more closely with QTA to ensure that Qatar is viewed as the preferred destination for family-friendly leisure and entertainment,” commented Mashal Shahbik, Director of Festivals and Events at QTA. “Qatar’s hospitality sector, which was recently ranked, for the second time in a row, at the top of GCC destinations in the Guest Experience in the Middle East report, presents a key attraction to the visitors targeted by QTA initiatives such as Qatar Summer Festival.”
