‘Red / Red’ installation

Love art? Then be there at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha which has has dedicated part of its museum to a new display of work by Turkish artist Aslı Çavuşoğlu. The installation, entitled Red / Red, is on view in Mathaf’s Project Space. The display is dedicated to emerging artists and curators’ experimentations with new ideas and forms of presentation.

NAWASI - Equestrian, Camels and Falcons Exhibition

Nawasi is the first and only exhibition to be held in Qatar, focusing on Horses, Camel and Falcon equipment. The exhibition will accommodate more than 150 premier exhibitors with cutting edge technology and equipment. Be there to be a part of this unique show.

Simaisma Beach Clean Up

Join hands to make Qatar a better place and participate in the Simaisma Beach clean up project. As it is a well used beach, there is a tendency for litter to accumulate both on the beach and in the surrounding mangroves which are an important wildlife habitat. Spend just a couple of hours and help in making the Simaisma beach more beautiful. Doha Beach Clean Project will provide trash bags & gloves.

A Journey to the art of Roqaa Arabic calligraphy workshop

Interested in learning the art of writing Arabic? Join the journey to the art of Roqaa Arabic calligraphy workshop by Syrian calligrapher Nasser al-Hamwi at Katara. Roqaa is a calligraphic variety of Arabic script. The workshop will provide opportunities for beginners who are interested in Arabic calligraphy to discover this beautiful art through Roqaa Arabic calligraphy.
