The Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative of Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, hosted yesterday at its office an Open Day initiative under the title, “Every Path has a Start”.
The Open Day was held to provide people with an opportunity to get acquainted with the services and activities carried out by the center in the fields of entrepreneurship and career development.
A total of 15 booths for successful entrepreneurs was set up with the aim of showing visitors the nature of assistance that has been provided to those entrepreneurs by Bedaya which subsequently led to their success. The event also offered support to those entrepreneurs showcasing their products and merchandise to the visitors.
Moreover, Bedaya offered visitors from schools, universities and graduates access to Tamheed, the psychometric tool used by Bedaya Center that helps young people better understand their career options.

This event attracted influencers such as Sheikha Fatima Al Thani, Asma Al Hammadi and Saleh Alayan, who have always shown their support and have been a key part in Bedaya Center’s growth during the last 5 years.
On this occasion, Reem Al-Suwaidi, General Manager of Bedaya Center, said:” Today’s event comes under our marketing plan to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Bedaya center, aiming to provide an opportunity for visitors to get to know the Center's various divisions (Entrepreneurship and Career Development), and to introduce them the best ways to support their existing projects or to turn their ideas into realistic future projects and thereby contribute to the local economy.”
“The group of advisors from Bedaya’s Career development division provided advice and guidance to all visitors, we also had an exhibition alongside the open day showcasing 15 successful projects that benefited from Bedaya’s services and activities which were the official starting point for them” she added.
